Keyword research is the first step in determining an organic SEO campaign.  You may be thinking, I already know what keywords I want to rank for, why is keyword research necessary?  Well, when doing keyword research we don’t only analyze the top keywords for your industry, we analyze the top keywords with the greatest opportunity for growth.  Often times, the top high-traffic keywords you want to rank for are also the most competitive and therefore take longer to climb the ranks.  Therefore, a better SEO strategy to return quicker initial results is targeting several medium-traffic keywords with less competition that we can rise more quickly for.    Several medium-traffic keywords where you’re ranking on page one will often times drive MORE traffic to your site than ranking on page one for one high-traffic keyword.
